Black Guerrilla Family, 415 KUMI and Black Gangs

“Black Guerrilla Family, 415 KUMI and Northern/Central California Black Gangs – From the Streets to the Prison Yards”

This course is recommended for Law Enforcement from all over CA who deal with Black Guerrilla Family and 415 KUMI as well as their associates and other Black Gangs from the San Francisco Bay area and Northern/Central California. The BGF and KUMI are very active both in and out of custody and are closely linked to many Black gangs in Northern California. These groups are active on the street, within county jail facilities, as well as within CDCR.

This course will cover the current activity of the organization and new intelligence about changes in their operational trends. It will include current players, how the organization operates in prison and on the street, ways that they communicate, how they effect Black street gangs, and much much more.

The course curriculum will include the following topics:

Black Guerrilla Family and KUMI history and Intelligence update

BGF and KUMI control of Black Street Gangs both directly and indirectly

Debriefing Techniques for BGF, KUMI and Northern California Black Street Gangs

New Intelligence about BGF/KUMI Trends and Methods

Maximizing Intelligence Gathering Efforts

Documenting Black Gang and BGF/KUMI activity

Links to domestic extremist groups

Identifying BGF/KUMI activity in Northern and Central CA

Location of BGF/KUMI members and associates in Federal, State and local custody

Current parolees and probationers that are out and operating on behalf of the the organization

Course Information: This class is eight hours long, and will run from 0800-1800 hrs on 08/18/2022 at the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Regional Training Center in Dublin, CA. This course is being taught by a specialist from the CDCR Office of Correctional Safety and a detective from Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.  Each student will receive a certificate of completion.

Registration to this course is limited to students who have meet the prerequisites mandated for full-time employment as an official in a law enforcement or administration of justice agency. Verification of current employment in law enforcement is required . There will be no exceptions.
